Roe|Minor - Our History …

Roe|Minor traces its beginnings to Miami, Florida in 1944 and the practice Slack, Slack, and Roe. The firm pioneered valuation services in South Florida and quickly became known for their integrity, competence and reliable service. Some years later, John Blazejack became the fourth partner and the name changed to Slack, Slack, Roe, and Blazejack. In 1987, when Mr. Roe was managing partner of Slack, Slack, Roe, and Blazejack's Fort Lauderdale office, he met and teamed up with Jeanette Westberry, and when the parent firm split, these two kept the Fort Lauderdale team together, insuring a continuation of honest and competent service to their clients.

Roe, Westberry & Associates started with the premise that their product was service to the client. Upon this base, they developed and expanding staff of appraisers and consultants. In 1993, Ms. Westberry started a new brokerage division, RW Realty Sales, which later became Senior's Housing Property Group. The valuation and counseling team remained under the guidance and direction of Mr. Roe, and subsequently changed its name to Roe Research. During this era the firm built upon specialties in place and added select professionals-who like Mr. Roe were committed to the established reputation of the firm.

Today, the firm is known as Roe|Minor, the result a decade long relationship between Mr. Roe and Charles E. Minor. Clients across the country and world look to us for the same skills on which the firm was founded. As in the beginning, we remain committed to integrity, competency, and reliable service.
